- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 to 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a half sheet pan.
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in honey, eggs, vanilla, and Greek yogurt.
- In another bowl, whisk together flours, baking soda, and salt.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk into the batter.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Beat frosting ingredients together until smooth.
- Spread frosting over cooled cake.
- Arrange blueberries and strawberries to create an American flag design.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
