Description

This lupini bean snack is zesty, crispy, and incredibly easy to make. A quick toss in bold seasonings and a short cook in the air fryer or oven turns simple beans into a crunchy, protein packed snack perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups lupini beans, canned or jarred
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse lupini beans. Pat dry very well.
  2. In a bowl, mix lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add beans and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Air Fryer: Cook at 380 F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  5. Oven: Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes, stirring halfway.
  6. Let cool slightly. Beans will crisp more as they rest.

Notes

Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week. Reheating: Air fryer for a few minutes or oven until crispy again.
