If your dinner routine needs a little excitement, these Hot Honey Chicken Sliders are about to turn things around. Imagine juicy rotisserie chicken smothered in homemade hot honey sauce, nestled between pillowy Hawaiian rolls and gooey provolone cheese—each slider is a bite-sized adventure that’s sweet, spicy, and totally irresistible.

Perfect for busy nights, weekend gatherings, or when you’re just craving something out of the ordinary, these chicken sliders bring people together. The creamy slaw on top adds a cool crunch that balances the heat, making every mouthful unforgettable.

Short on time? No problem. With pre-cooked chicken and a sauce you can whip up in minutes, these hot honey chicken sliders are as simple as they are sensational. Your kitchen will smell amazing, your guests will ask for seconds, and you’ll love how easy cleanup is.

Ingredients for Hot Honey Chicken Sliders

 24 Hawaiian rolls
 5 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
 12 slices provolone cheese

For Hot Honey Sauce:

 4 tablespoon butter
 ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
 ¼ teaspoon salt
 ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
 ⅛ teaspoon smoked paprika
 4 cups shredded coleslaw mix
½ cup coleslaw dressing or ranch (plus extra as needed)

Instructions: How to Make Easy Hot Honey Chicken Sliders

1

Get started: Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch pan.

2

Prepare rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Gently fit the bottom half into the pan.

step 1

3

Layer up: Place cheese slices evenly over the bottom rolls. In a bowl, toss shredded chicken with the hot honey sauce ingredients until coated, then spread chicken mixture over the cheese.

step 2

4

First bake: Bake uncovered for 15 minutes so the cheese melts and the flavors come alive.

5

Butter time: Add the top half of the rolls. Mix butter with cayenne, salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Brush the tops of the rolls with this mixture.

step 3

6

Finish baking: Return pan to the oven and bake another 15-20 minutes, until tops are golden and slightly crisp.

7

Mix slaw: In a separate bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and dressing until well-coated.

8

Assemble: Remove from oven, gently lift off the tops, pile on the coleslaw, replace the tops, and brush with any extra butter if you’re feeling bold.

step 4

9

Serve hot: Slice, serve, and watch them disappear!

Notes

Serve ’em hot: For maximum flavor and the perfect slider texture, serve straight from the oven. If they sit out too long, the bottoms can get a little soft—but honestly, that’s just a sign these sliders won’t stick around!

Make-ahead magic: Skip the slaw if you’re prepping these ahead or saving leftovers—just add it fresh before serving. For reheating, pop the sliders (without slaw) in a hot oven, tented with foil, to revive that fresh-baked taste.
