Description

This sweet and tangy strawberry-cranberry jam is the ultimate homemade holiday treat. Easy to make, perfect for gifting, and loaded with festive flavor, it's a Christmas classic your family and friends will love.


Ingredients

  • 2½ quarts fresh strawberries, hulled (or 40 oz frozen, thawed)
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 2 pouches liquid fruit pectin (3 oz each)


Instructions

  1. Grind strawberries and cranberries in a food processor until finely chopped but not pureed.
  2. Place fruit mixture in a Dutch oven, stir in sugar, and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in pectin, return to boil, and cook for 1 more minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat, skim off foam, and let rest 5 minutes. Ladle into hot jars leaving ¼ inch headspace.
