Chicken Wing Skewers this sugar

DifficultyIntermediateYields8 Servings

These Chicken Wing Skewers are anything but ordinary. Marinated in bold, crave-worthy flavor combos—Garlic Parmesan, Chile Lime, and Chimichurri—they’re grilled to juicy perfection and served up skewer-style for a mess-free experience that’s big on flavor and perfect for parties.

The combination of smoky char, juicy meat, and savory sauces makes this recipe a guaranteed win for game day, backyard cookouts, or casual weeknight dinners. Skewering wings not only helps them cook evenly, but also makes them easier to flip and serve—no fumbling with sticky fingers.

Make all three flavors for a crowd or double up on your favorite. However you serve them, these chicken wing skewers bring bold flavor, variety, and serious BBQ energy to your table.

Ingredients for Chicken Wing Skewers

Sauces (Optional for Serving):

 Primal Kitchen Ranch
 Primal Kitchen Buffalo Ranch
 Primal Kitchen Queso

Chimichurri Wings:

 1 lb chicken wings

Chimichurri Marinade:

 ¼ cup chopped parsley
 ⅛ cup red wine vinegar
 8 garlic cloves, minced
 2 tablespoon chopped oregano
 1 tablespoon black pepper
 1.50 teaspoon red chili flakes
 Olive oil (to desired consistency)
 Kosher salt, to taste

Garlic Parmesan Wings:

 1 lb chicken wings

Dry Brine:

 2 tablespoon kosher salt
 2 tablespoon black pepper
 2 tablespoon garlic powder
 1 tablespoon hot sauce
 1 tablespoon canola oil

Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

 1 stick butter, melted
 2.50 tablespoon chopped parsley
 2 tablespoon grated Parmesan
 2 tablespoon minced garlic
 1 teaspoon red chili flakes

Chile Lime Wings:

 1 lb chicken wings

Marinade:

 2.50 tablespoon chipotle puree
 1.50 tablespoon garlic paste
 1.50 tablespoon achiote paste
 Juice of 4 limes
 Kosher salt, to taste

How to Make Chicken Wing Skewers

1

Marinate Wings:

  • Chile Lime: Combine marinade ingredients, coat wings, and refrigerate overnight.

  • Garlic Parmesan: Toss wings in dry brine and refrigerate overnight.

  • Chimichurri: Mix marinade the next day and let wings marinate for 1–2 hours.

2

Skewer the Wings: Remove wings from marinades and thread onto soaked wooden or metal skewers.

3

Grill the Wings:

  • Preheat grill to 325°F (medium heat).

  • Grill skewers 20–30 minutes, flipping regularly, until internal temp reaches 165°F.

4

Finish & Serve:

  • Toss garlic parmesan wings in sauce.

  • Remove wings from skewers, plate, and serve with ranch, buffalo ranch, or queso.

Notes

For best results, marinate overnight and skewer right before grilling. If you don’t have a grill, these wings can be cooked in an oven at 400°F until crispy and fully cooked (about 35 minutes). Finish with sauce just before serving.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, buffalo ranch, or queso for the full game-day effect.
